Memories From Gregory JonesGregory Jones has contacted The Devauden Website having stumbled across it on the internet whilst sailing around the world! Gregory lived at Tredean House with his parents, Ismay and Maurice Jones in the early eighties. He has some fond memories of their social life in the village and they hosted various functions at the house including a shoot. Gregory remembers Dot and Dick Jeremy in particular, Dick Jeremy having looked after the woods and pheasant poults. Major William Grace was also a friend of the family and was apparently related to W.G. Grace, the famous cricketer. Unfortunately, Maurice Jones died of cancer and Ismay and Gregory both moved away shortly afterwards.
