Hiring Devauden Village Hall

The Hood Memorial Hall is available for hire for parties, clubs, meetings and other events. The hall has central heating, a well-equipped kitchen, disabled access, baby changing facilities, a cinema system and car parking.

The costs for one-off events are given below. Reduced rates are available for regular sessions. To make a booking or for more information call Hugh Gorton on 01291 652932.

Rates

Hourly rate £12.50.

Morning session (9am to 1pm) £25.

Afternoon session (1.30pm to 5.30pm) £35.

Bouncy castle (morning or afternoon session) £35 extra.

Evening Parties

The cost to hire the hall for a private function from 7.30pm to 11.30 pm is £70 plus £20 deposit against breakages or damage (refundable).

If a bar licence is required then there will be an additional cost of £25.

Charity Fundraising Evenings

A reduced hire charge of £20 is available for charities.

Weddings

Hall hire 9.30am – 11.30 pm is £250 plus a set up and clear up charge of £50.

Scouts/Guides Camps

Overnight/sleepover £70

Weekend £120

Long Weekend £135

Meeting Room

A smaller meeting room is available at the hall.  The cost of hiring this is £12.50 per hour.

Lighting and Heating

The cost of lighting and heating is included in the charges above, however, electricity cards are required to operate the cookers, spotlights, and overhead heaters.  These can be purchased prior to the event.
